Each product page has detailed information about the
piece including necklace “length” measurments. This measurement will indicate where the piece will naturally fall around your neck. Sometimes you may wish to wear a
piece higher on your neckline while other times it may be enhanced by a longer length. To facilitate variation in styles, many of our necklaces include extender chains
attached at the end of the piece for flexiblity. With an extender, a necklace can be worn at the short measurement length, the long measurement length or incriment
lengths between those measurements. If a piece includes an extender, a range of length measurement are provided. At times we will not recommend using an extender due to
the design and/or balance of the piece.
The cut and variation of natural stones and handcrafted gold, silver and glass beads, may cause a modist variation
in length from those mesurements listed. If you are interested in a custom length, contact us at BeHip@HipKarma.com with the necklace name, style number and your
desired mesurement. One of our design consultants will research and respond to let you know if adjustments are possible.

It is important that you follow our wearing
instructions to ensure the beauty and durability of your delicate pieces. Please do not wear your Hip Karma Jewels in showers
or pools, or anywhere they might be subjected to chemical cleaners. And while many Hip Karma pieces are designed to be part of your daily life, they should not be worn
during rigorous activity. Wearing your Hip Karma pieces incorrectly will shorten the lifespan of the piece.
Sterling silver jewelry and vermil (gold layered over
sterling silver) naturally react to light, air, and environmental factors which can cause gradual color change,
this is not damage and can even add to the beauty of a design. To remove any unwanted tarnish that develops on silver and vermil, you can use a silver jewelry polishing
cloth dry or Weinamans Silver Foam which requires water and is available at most grocery store chains.
Polishing Cloth: Using a polishing cloth specifically
made for sterling jewelry, wipe the metal gently, without pulling or pushing hard, to restore its luster.
Weinamans Silver Foam comes with a sponge and
requires water. Wet the sponge that is included with the jar, lightly rub the sponge on the paste picking up a small amount, return the sponge to the water briefly and
lightly squeeze allowing the paste and water to mix and become foam. Ensure there are no chunks of paste left on the sponge prior to carefully rubbing the paste over
the metal you are cleaning hen runIn either case wipe the pieces gently and pat dry and place on a cloth to allow any water.
Gold and silver, not set with
diamonds, can be gently cleaned with a soft bristle toothbrush and a gentle soap. After lightly scrubbing, chains should be rinsed and thoroughly dried. Silver and pave
diamond jewelry should be cleaned with silver polishing cloths or silver cleaning pads. Do not soak in liquid jewelry cleaner. Gemstone beads can be gently brushed with
a damp soft bristle toothbrush to remove dust and debris and then thoroughly dried.
You purchased a delicate and beautiful piece of
jewelry
carefully crafted by an artisan (not a machine), and from time to time something may require a repair. It
happens! We are here to help if we can. For repair inquiries please email repairs@HipKarma.com. Please include the product name, style number, your name, description of
the repair required, photo of the damage, and proof of purchase. We want you to adore how your Hip Karma Jewels dress up your wardrobe for years to
come.
Once we review your submission, we will send you an estimate of charges and repair time along with shipping instructions if we are able to repair your
piece. All repairs are subject to shipping charges. Repairs can take up to 4-6 weeks to complete, depending on the time of year and our availability. Repaired items
will be professionally cleaned and returned to you as soon as they are complete, and we will notify you by email with tracking information once it ships. We reserve the
right to deny unreasonable repairs.
